The following are the most common reasons for your gift card not being processed:
- You sent us the gift card purchase confirmation but not the gift card claim code. After you purchase a gift card from Amazon, you will receive an email with the gift card and a unique claim code. To complete your order, we’ll need that claim code together with the gift card value.
- Because you mistakenly sent us an used or expired gift card, we are unable to process it. Please send us a new gift card, and we’ll take care of it.
- We favour Amazon.com and Amazon.de, as well as a few more sites from around the world. However, it is possible that the giftcard from the country that you reside will not be processed by our processing partners.
- It is possible that our processing partner will take some extra time to process your gift card for verification purposes, which will cause the processing time to be significantly longer.
